About Canvas Map.
Canvas Map is a visual thinking space. Every board is an infinite canvas where you can drop images from your computer, drag them around, type notes anywhere with double-click, sketch freehand in colour, erase single marks, or wipe all annotations while keeping your images. Pan by holding Space and dragging, zoom with the toolbar or the scroll wheel, and undo with Ctrl/⌘ + Z.
Always free
Canvas Map is free to use — including when you create an account. There is no limit on the number of canvas boards you can create, and there are no paid tiers or hidden fees.
Automatic saving
Everything you do on the canvas is saved automatically. There is no need for a Save button: registered users have their boards synced to the cloud, and guest users have their board saved in the current browser.
Supported image formats
You can upload images in JPG, PNG, WEBP and GIF formats. Registered users can upload files up to 15 MB each, while guest mode keeps inline images under 2 MB each.
Two ways to use it
Guest mode
Start instantly, no account needed. You get one board that is saved only inside this browser (local storage), so it survives a refresh but never leaves the device. Uploaded images are stored inline and limited to 2 MB each, and clearing your browser data removes the board for good.

Sign up for free to create unlimited boards that are stored in the cloud and synced across every device you sign in from — laptop, tablet and phone. You also get the dashboard with search, sorting, filters and recent activity, larger image uploads, and full-size originals kept safely in your private storage.
Create an accountMoving from guest to an account
A guest board stays on the device it was created on. If you decide to sign up later, create an account and rebuild or re-upload your content into a cloud board — from then on everything saves automatically and follows you between devices.
